Intern, Quality Systems and Compliance
Primary responsibilities include:
Intern, Quality Systems and Compliance will aid and support the Quality Systems and Compliance team that may include but is not limited to processing requests for documentation, training, issue and change management, and metrics. This position will be located at BioNTech’s clinical manufacturing site in Gaithersburg, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management
- Learn about Good Documentation Practices and Principles
- Assist with formatting of documents
- Support in projects related to eQMS migration
- Training Management
- Learn about GxP Training and compliance
- Provide support to Training projects, as needed
- Support in projects related to eQMS migration
- Quality Events
- Issue and Change Management: Support integration into eQMS
- Management Review: Metrics support where applicable
- Self Inspection: Support where applicable
- Regulatory Inspection: Support where applicable
- Regulatory Surveillance: Support where applicable
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of the internship
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment
- Flexible with strong organization skills, ability to multitask
