For our division IT ,at our location in München, Köln we are looking for a Director of IT security & Complaince (m/f/d)

 

 

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:

 

  • Your primary responsibility is to guarantee that Birkenstock can conduct its operations securely, adapting to the dynamic needs of the organization while maintaining robust security measures.
  • You'll be at the forefront of educational efforts across the company, helping everyone understand how to defend against outside threats. By doing so, we'll build a strong sense of security awareness throughout every department at Birkenstock.
  • You'll oversee the maintenance of IT general controls, including access management, backup protocols, information security measures, disaster recovery plans, and other critical aspects. This includes managing general Windows, Exchange, and Active Directory systems integral to the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborating closely with the CIO, you will lead the global governance of IT general controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This involves orchestrating audits, policy maintenance, and implementing measures to enhance the stability and resilience of the organization's IT ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery plans, regularly testing and refining procedures to ensure a swift and effective response in the event of a security breach or system outage, minimizing operational disruptions and data loss
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and execute proactive measures to mitigate risks, ensuring Birkenstock's resilience against cyber threats.

 

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

  • You will occupy a central position in the design and structural professionalization of our growing IT teams and act as an interface in the company. You are responsible for all systems and security, including the integration of our local IT experts at the locations. Therefore, your qualifications shall include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field from a reputable university.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or Information Security Manager.
  • Previous employment at a company with embedded IT General Controls (ITGC) for relevant SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency in Cyber Security Defense systems and strategies.
  • Business fluent English: German language skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Server administration.
