RMF Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

 Peraton seeks an RMF Cybersecurity Engineer to support Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)’s Technical Warfare Center (TWC).  Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA.  In this role, support the development of concepts and requirements for implementation of capabilities for full-spectrum Cyberspace operations for Department of Defense Information Network Operations (DoDIN), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).

 

Tasks include:

 

• Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts for the ArCTIC Lab and assist with accreditation requirements as necessary
• Assist with technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions.
• Interface with the stakeholders in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs
• Assist with configuration, validate secure complex systems, and test security products and systems to detect security weakness.
• Validate and verify system security requirements definitions and analysis.
• Design, develop, implement and/or integrate IA and security systems and system components  
• Build information assurance (IA) into systems and ensure updates are deployed
• Prepare Body of Evidence (BoE) documents such as System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Software and Installation Procedures, Security Test Procedures and Software Application documentation, policy and procedures requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering team for design and implementation to ensure RMF systems comply with FISMA provisions and DoD Army Policies and regulations for cyber operations.

Qualifications

Required:

• HS 12+ Years, BA/BS 8+ Years, or MA/MS 6+ Years and other training/experience. 
• Must have experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.
• CISSP, MCSE, MCP / Operating Systems
• Proficient: RedHat Enterprise Linux, SELinux, Solaris 8 and above, Windows; Operation Systems
• Familiar: Debian, Fedora, OSX, BSD, IRIX, MEPIS;
• Languages: Shell Scripting, Perl, C++, C, VHDL, Active HDL, Visual Basic, Basic, Windows Scripting;
• DEVOPS Tools: Puppet, JIRA, Confluence, Redmine, Fortify, CVS, GIT, Alfresco;
• O&M Tools: Splunk, Nessus, ACAS, Nagios, Ganglia, Retina, Docker;
• Software/Utilities: WSUS, SCCM, Group Policy Editor, OWF, Security Center, JBOSS, PostgreSQL, LDAP, VM’s, XACTA, Office suite, PageMaker, Photoshop, Outlook, Sharepoint, Project, Visio

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
