Scope of Role

Reporting directly to ITRS Global Head of IT, Risk and Security, the IT Security, Governance & Risk Manager is responsible Information Security Management, IT Governance & IT Risk, providing leadership and strategic direction for the responsibilities and liaising with all staff and clients to implement an appropriate IT Security, Governance and Risk control and management.

As an IT Security, Governance & Risk Manager, you will:

• Maintenance and governance of the Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards, including certification against ISO/IEC 27001
• Review and report on the status of ITRS Security status.
• Management of IT Risk Committee reporting on IT Risk
• Oversee the IT risk assessments and risk register.
• Manage Vendor vetting and risk management.
• Work with clients and internal departments on IT security, governance, and Risk controls.
• Chair the Security Review Board monthly meetings.
• Recommend and implement necessary IT security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, together with the Security Review Board.
• Compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance with both internal policies and regulations.
• Manage and rollout IT awareness, training, and educational activities.
• Develop IT services BCP management and IT disaster recovery together with relevant responsibilities and third parties and associated testing and maintenance.
• Maintain the Security Incident Response plans and execution.
• Manage PEN tests and risk assessments
• Ensure adequate internal action and timely response for security related incidents
• Plan, organising, and supervising internal IT compliance and audits.
• Respond to client security questions and audits.

You will have:

• 8+ Years’ Hands-on team leadership and management experience in IT Security.
• Knowledge of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance processes.
• Experience running an ISO27001 internal audit programme.
• Broad knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR
• Proficiency in Risk analysis and reporting
• Broad experience of security risk analysis and assessment.
• Experience of BCP management and overview
• Understanding of ISO27001 certification requirements, through involvement with the delivery of such.
• Good understanding of ITIL

A person in this role would benefit from the following:

• 10+ years of experience in a Typically a background in technical IT roles such as IT architecture, infrastructure, or operations, with a clear and abiding interest in information security
• Have experience using IT security and compliance tools such as Dark Trace, Digital Shadows, Qualys, Purview.
• Experience managing an information security awareness programme
