OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWAs a Cyber Intelligence Analyst at ZeroFox, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our customers' brands and executives by conducting comprehensive OSINT research, analysis, and threat assessments. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing intelligence data, configuring intelligence platforms, and providing crucial support to our sales engineering team. The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will support Sales Engineers with validation projects to drive new business from prospective and existing customer accounts. This position will draw on your skills to find, collect and analyze raw source data from open sources such as social media and the dark web.

Role and responsibilities

  • OSINT Research and Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth OSINT research on brand and executive threats to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends
  • Analyze gathered intelligence to produce actionable insights and threat assessments for customers
  • ZeroFox Platform Configuration:
  • Configure and manage threat intelligence platforms to optimize data collection, processing, and dissemination
  • Implement and maintain necessary tools and technologies to support intelligence gathering and analysis
  • Support for Sales Engineering
  • Collaborate with the presales technical consulting team to provide intelligence-driven insights and expertise during customer engagements
  • Assist in crafting technical solutions and recommendations based on OSINT findings to address client-specific security concerns

Qualifications and skills

  • BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent career experience
  • Proven experience (2 years minimum) in conducting OSINT research and analysis within the cybersecurity domain
  • In-depth knowledge of intelligence platforms, tools, and methodologies
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing OSINT tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and produce actionable intelligence reports
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to customers
  • Possess a high level of integrity and ethical standards
  • Mature time management, excellent verbal and written communication skills, , including the demonstrated ability to write clear and concise text

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive level of industry acumen; remain current on the threat landscape across vertical industry segments to improve collection, detection, analysis, and production capabilities 
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with peer analysts, and the greater field sales technical consulting team
  • Proficient understanding of multiple security domains, malware and phishing techniques, threat intelligence, social engineering threats along with an understanding of security operations and incident response 
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH) or relevant OSINT certifications (e.g., GOSI, GCTI, CTIA)
  • Experience working in a sales engineering or consulting capacity within the cybersecurity industry
