Description
PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team.
Location: Tampa, FLRequired Clearance: TS with SCI eligibilityRequired Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.Required Experience: Proven eight plus (8+) years of experience in Cybersecurity role with a focus on senior level responsibilities
Responsibilities
· Oversee and conduct security monitoring to detect and respond to security incidents.· Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant teams to mitigate and resolve incidents.· Develop and implement vulnerability assessment programs.· Manage the identification, tracking, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.· Contribute to the design and implementation of secure system architectures.· Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.· Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.· Conduct security assessments and audits.· Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the organization.· Communicate security-related issues and solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
· In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and protocols.· Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).· Proficiency in using and managing security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus software, and endpoint protection.· Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.· Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and their security features.· Ability to analyze and interpret security logs, incidents, and events.· Excellent communication skills to convey security-related information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.· Experience in managing and prioritizing security tasks and projects.· Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.· Willingness to pursue additional certifications and training as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in advanced computer science or relevant field, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP
Certifications Required:• Security +• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
