We’re currently looking for a  Supply Chain Management Intern with focus on Supplier Cybersecurity and Risk Mitigation to join our team in Smyrna, TN.

During your 12-week internship, you will have the chance to:

  • Gain experience in operations, design, supply chain/logistics structure and cost modeling, parts ordering, manufacturing scheduling, supplier negotiations cross-functional teamwork to lead strategic initiatives
  • Understand Cybersecurity policy and how suppliers protect themselves and Nissan from Cyber Risk
  • Participate in external assessments reviewing observance and execution of best practices (NIST CSF)
  • Analyze current process and make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
  • Structure presentation for Management team
  • Day or regional travel may be required

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Information Security, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong analytical skill with critical “outside the box” thinking
  • Project Management skills (organization and time management skills)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word), especially Excel and Access
  • Demonstrate professionalism and clear communication abilities
  • Be comfortable presenting to Management Team
