Job Description

A day in the life of a Cybersecurity Specialist for Large European Institutions Projects

As a Cybersecurity Specialist for

Large European Institutions Projects, you will be part of highly skilled agile teams that design, develop, deploy, customize, and support break-through applications for EU institutions. 

Your main duties will be to:

• Perform and document risk assessments for EP projects and services using SaaS, IaaS and PaaS Cloud services often in a hybrid context
• Propose security solutions and security controls to mitigate the risks related to the adoption of Cloud services
• Write Cybersecurity best practices, guidelines, standards, and procedures related to the security aspects of Cloud services
• Follow-up closely on cloud providers security advisories, and analyse the impact of the security threats for the EP cloud environments
• Contribute to the definition of the monitoring of the security of Cloud services in use by the European Parliament
• Produce the technical reports and documentation associated to the activities;  
• Collaborate with the other experts in the domain for performing the analysis of both global technological trends and Cloud specific projects
• Work with a high degree of autonomy while always remaining synchronised with Parliament staff
• Auditing and reviewing configuration of software, communication, computing systems and their architectures

Qualifications

If you have

Cloud Services security:

• Define and validate security solutions based on cloud services (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services) used in an hybrid context
• Perform risk analysis of those cloud solutions
• Write and document best practices, guidelines, standards, and procedures in the field of cloud based solutions
• Support for other tasks related to the management of ICT Security: contribute to the different tasks of the domain including
• The production of documents related to the domain of the lot
• Perform and/or contribute to Risk Assessments of new systems deployed at EP premises

…then this position is suitable for you!

It would be nice if you had

• General knowledge of EU institutions
• Experience with European Commission is an asset
• Knowledge of other EU languages is a plus, especially French
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner
• Certified in PM2
