Reporting EU Lead - Vulnerability Management

 

Corporate Level:   Associate 

Location:               London / Hybrid 

 

Nomura is seeking a highly skilled Reporting Lead to join our Vulnerability Management team. As the Reporting Lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our cybersecurity efforts through proficient data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

Data Proficiency

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in programming languages, with a focus on scripting and automation for efficient data handling.
  • Expertise in SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.

 

Database Management

  • Manage and maintain databases relevant to vulnerability management.
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

 

Data Analytics

  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies for proactive vulnerability detection and mitigation.

 

Visualization Skills

  • Create visually compelling and insightful reports using tools such as PowerBI.
  • Translate complex vulnerability data into easily understandable visualizations for stakeholders.

 

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts and IT professionals, to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
  • Provide expertise in reporting best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of vulnerability management.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in vulnerability management and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes.

 

Communication

  • Effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Present reports and recommendations to leadership for informed decision-making.

 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in vulnerability management and reporting.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Expertise in data analytics and visualization tools, particularly PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
