What you can look forward to as an IT Security Expert: 

• Development, integration, and operation of Endpoint Detection and response (EDR/XDR) solutions.
• Architect, extend, and administer ZF’s Security solutions.
• Participate in IT Security Projects as a Technical Project Manager/Expert and general IT projects. 
• Support other departments with general IT Security matters.
• Coordinate main contact between ZF and our third-party Managed Security Service Provider regarding operational matters of the ZF SIEM/SOAR environment and external SOC.
• Support and coordinate the implementation and continuous improvement of Security Monitoring use cases and processes to support efficient security operations.

Your profile as an IT Security Expert: 

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science / IT security, or equivalent
• 4+ years experience in IT Security
• Strong technical background and practical knowledge in general IT, IT Networking, and IT Security
• Experience in operating EDR/XDR solutions
• Familiar with modern operation methodologies and concepts (e.g., DevOps, Automation, CI/CD, etc.)
• Very good understanding of IT technologies and evolving trends (e.g., SIEM/Security Analytics, SOAR/Security Automation, Cloud Security)
• Experience in working within international and globally distributed teams
• Self-driven, results-oriented approach to work and ability to work in a team
• US citizenship is required to obtain necessary security clearances
• Holding one or more of the following certificates is a plus: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, SSCP, OSCP, CEH, CCFA, GIAC/SANS certificates, Splunk certificates, Azure certificates, LPIC-X
