The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer II to join the FICO's Cybersecurity Risk Management Team. In this role, you will provide thought leadership and innovation to our IT team by playing a pivotal role in our risk management process, which involves Policy Exceptions, Third-Party Risk assessments, and IT Risk assessments. What You'll Contribute

  • Work on external risk assessments to ensure compliance with all industry-mandated regulations and identify risk opportunities

  • Work on compliance and remediation initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness with applicable laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

  • Advised on compliance/security-related initiatives and improvements to reduce risk and overall breach profile.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of new business initiatives to ensure risks are identified and mitigated.

  • Provide metrics and reporting on progress of Governance, Risk and Compliance activities.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of the internal security control framework and recommend adjustments as business needs change.

  • Partner with business teams on mitigation plans and solutions for identified risks.

  • Own follow-up to ensure mitigation plans are on track and help business teams remove blockers to success.

What We're Seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Security, Computer Science or highly related program.

  • Solid experience in Cyber Risk-related functions.

  • ServiceNow GRC knowledge – implementation knowledge preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT-related knowledge and experience in solving compliance and risk issues.

  • Understanding and experience with ISO 27001 & PCI DSS.

  • Experience or understanding of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) processes and solutions.

  • Experience in information security and auditing.

  • Desired certifications: Sec+, CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, and related GIAC.

  • Ability to express technical concepts in business terms.

  • Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and complete multiple projects effectively and concurrently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
