Network & Security Operations SME

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Network & Security Operations SME with extensive experience and expertise supporting management of day-to-day activities of of Network Operations, including all Cybersecurity activities. The role requires a deep understanding of agile principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex systems. This position will be a primarily remote opportunity with ad hoc support in San Antonio, TX. Candidates must be located physically in the San Antonio area or surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring effective and efficient operation of network systems, architecture and topology. 
• Ensuring that all information systems are functioning properly.
• Confirming all operation security policies and procedures. 
• Assisting with the development and application of business processes to ensure appropriate service levels.
• Developing and implementing standards, procedures, and processes for the NetOps Center.
• Implementing security controls and mechanisms to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Overseeing the implementation of system designs, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. 
• Collaborating with software developers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate systems seamlessly. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
• 10 years experience leading Network & Security Operations for large-scale IT implementations 
• 5 years experience supporting/executing Network & Security Operations for cloud- native implementations
• 5 years of experience with DevOps / DevSecOps implementations
• Strong proficiency in a variety of operating systems, platforms, and technologies (i.e. Linux, Windows, virtualization, cloud computing)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• US Citizen and a TS/SCI security clearance within 3 months of hire

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (i.e. CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code)
• Knowledge of scripting and automation languages (i.e. Python, Powershell) 
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks

This position is located in San Antonio, TX.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
