DevSecOps Engineer

ControlUp is transforming the way IT manages systems and troubleshoots issues. We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will help drive the next generation of ControlUp innovation, using the cutting edge of modern DevOps technologies. This role is a great opportunity to learn and develop security using common DevOps methodologies.
Responsibilities:Charged on security implementation for internal and external tools using automation, scripts and common DevOps toolsWork within a team of professionals and be an integral part of ControUp’s successWork closely with R&D, Security, and IT teams to enhance ControlUp’s infrastructure and securityDeploy and operate a large-scale platform.Research, develop, and implement tools to support ControlUp’s infrastructure.Be in charge of ControlUp’s production environment & system health (including on-call rotation)Be a part of the CI/CD processes developmentTroubleshoot complex issues 
Requirements:Must - 2 years of experience as DevOps engineerMust - Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows platformsMust - Hands-on experience with cloud computing systems (AWS/Azure/GCP).Must - Software development and scripting skillsMust - Deep knowledge of networking, infrastructure and applications from a DevOps perspective with a security focusAdvantage – knowledge of security control techniques and how they can be applied in cloud-based systemsAdvantage - Knowledge of security monitoring, prevention and control systems including web proxies and security softwareAbility to assess and analyze a wide range of information to conclude how to improve the security of our systemsExcellent communication skills, team player.Attention to details but also able to see the big picturePerfect English skills (both written and verbal).
