Software Solution Engineer - AppSec & DevSecOps (m/f/d)

What is waiting for you?

As a Solution Engineer, you will guide potential customers throughout their buying journey with your technical expertise and empathy - working closely with your colleagues in sales to match your prospective customers’ challenges with our solution by becoming their security and product expert. There are three essential components:

Understand – be genuinely curious and, together with your colleagues in sales, uncover the challenges your customers are facing in software testing:

• Understand your customers' situation and take their perspective
• Identify their motivation to change
• Gather information about their software and testing architecture
• Recognize potential limitations of their current test setup

 Enable - find solutions for your customers' software testing challenges and enable them to recognize the value of CI Fuzz:

• Map your customers' software architecture with our platform
• Present our platform and benefits to potential clients according to the problems you have discovered
• Create proof of concept implementations that showcase our technical abilities by finding critical security issues in customer code

 Advocate - you will become your clients' trusted advisor:

• Build relationships with technical stakeholders and decision-makers
• Help your prospect to find the right solution for their problem without trying to force our solution if they are not ready yet
• Become their authority with regards to fuzzing and software security testing
  

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Good understanding of and hands-on experience with modern software development processes, including DevSecOps and CI/CD
• Good understanding of typical bugs and security vulnerabilities in C/C++ and Java (such as CWE or OWASP Top 10)
• Development of or experience in application security is a benefit
• You get the big picture, but also dig into the details
• Extraordinarily strong communication and presentation skills in English
• German language skills are a plus
• Ability to visit clients frequently
