Senior Security Engineer

Recorded Future corporate security team is looking for a Security Engineer for a unique position within the corporate security team.  As part of the corporate security team, this role encompasses both technical and administrative aspects and has opportunities for growth into other roles.

What you’ll do as the Security Engineer:

• Determine needs, implement and/or develop security tools to provide visibility and controls to keep the organization safe from threats.
• Provide use case validation and feedback to product management teams.  Be part of effort to showcase Recorded Future product through utilization of the product in daily operations 
• Assist business partners with evaluation of security and risk during selection and procurement of technology solutions.
• Provide security expertise and requirements definitions to teams implementing identity management and mobile device management projects
• Conduct audits of technologies in use looking for technical and compliance risks and driving improvements..
• Assist with periodic audits to ensure appropriate access rights are assigned and that supporting processes are aligned with implemented practices.
• Collaboratively create playbooks supporting the activities of the business operations team and incident response team
• Provide escalation support for business operations and incident response teams. 

What you’ll bring as the Security Engineer:

• Prior hands on experience with any cloud infrastructure platforms (such as but not limited to Okta, Google, AWS, etc)
• Prior experience utilizing a SIEM (Preference for ELK or Splunk)
• Prior experience with a scripting language.
• Prior experience in a dedicated information security role.
• Someone who desires to learn and grow beyond this role.
