Senior Cryptography Engineer

At Qredo we are developing state of the art cryptographic services to solve the problem of private key management in Tier 1 blockchains. Specifically, we are using Multi-Party Computation Threshold signature scheme (MPC-TSS) for ECDSA and EdDSA to run a distributed, highly available network of signing nodes.

We are currently looking to recruit a senior cryptography engineer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, implementation, testing, deployment and operational support of highly scalable and performant cryptographic services
• Research state of the art protocols to improve our solution
• Model solutions at the mathematics level and also at the system level
• Collaborative with cross domain teams to develop technical solutions

Requirements

• Educated to at least Master’s level in a discipline with significant mathematics content
• Understanding of Elliptic Curve Cryptography and homomorphic cryptography (Paillier)
• Knowledge of the state of the art of MPC-TSS
• Programmed in C, Rust and Python. Specifically have experience of static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, independent code review, and writing unit tests
• Experience with docker and docker-compose
• Understanding of how to develop applications that works on AWS nitro enclave using Rust
• Mentored junior staff
• Able to work under pressure in event of a production failure issue

Desired Skills

• Developed CI/CD solutions
• Understanding of Bitcoin and Ethereum 3. Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with HSM’s
