Title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer (CNAP)
Location: Gunter Annex - Montgomery, AL (3-days onsite)
Clearance: Active Secret or Higher Clearance Required

About this role:

  • Rackner is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment building and maintaining the Cloud Native Access Point (CNAP) for Platform One, an Air Force DevSecOps platform. 
  • The engineer will support the general operations, feature development, and day to day activities to manage enterprise operations for CNAP and integration with DAF/DoD initiatives such as zero trust and identity and feature deployment in classified environments. 
  • Will work with Platform One's various product teams and leadership, and have a direct impact on the direction of CNAP.

We are seeking professionals with:

  • B.S.; Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc)
  • Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

Nice to have:

  • CI/CD Pipelines is a plus
  • Ansible is a plus
  • Kubernetes configuration tools such as Helm is a plus
  • Experience with the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Ref Design is a plus
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team by implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
  • Use automation best practices, such as IaC and GitOps, for repeatability and fast provisioning of environments across classification levels
  • DevSecOps in the cloud for different classification levels
  • Come together with development teams to provide onboarding support
  • Ensure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies
