Cyber Security Engineer

The Cyber Security Engineer will use configuration-as-code techniques to automate and run vulnerability scans, policy orchestration, and log monitoring in AWS cloud environments. Join an agile development team of software engineers, cloud architects, and QA/test engineers to securely design and optimize cloud solutions for DoD compartmented IT customers. Responsibilities include:

• Provide excellent remote and on-site (50/50) customer service to DoD organizations
• Automate cyber security tools to perform ACAS scanning, ePO management, and log monitoring in cloud environments using configuration-as-code methods in Ansible or AWS CloudFormation

Basic Qualifications:

• AA or AS degree
• 4+ years of cyber security experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), Officer (ISSO), or Manager (ISSM)
• DoD 8570 IAT or IAM certification level II or above, current within the past 3 years

Desired Skills:

• BA or BS degree
• AWS certification
• Experience working with DoD enterprise IT

Security Clearance:

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Must meet DoD Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility
• Must be willing to complete a CI Polygraph
