DevSecOps Architect

We currently have a vacancy for a DevSecOps Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Proposing and evaluating security systems, components, and/or service architecture (including SOA, ESB, MDM, and legacy frameworks);
• Advising on DevOps (DevSecOps) practices, containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Tanzu), and event-driven architectures;
• Driving technical projects in cloud computing (AWS), infrastructure as code (IaC), and orchestration;
• Contributing to the delivery and release processes for container based (kubernetes,  VMWare Tanzu) and cloud based pipelines (AWS);
• Support preparation of Security Plan(s), security testing, penetration testing, tread  modelling and security classification.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of minimum 7 years;
• Strong security background and extensive experience in ensuring security for the IT systems and applications;
• Proven track record in IT architecture and security in similar large-scale projects;
• Solid experience in DevSecOps, with focus on Security part;
• Specific experience in Kubernetes, Tanzu and Kafka;
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing, containerization, orchestration technologies and event-driven architectures;
• Deep technical knowledge and hands on experience of IT technology; the list of possibly required skills for a specific position includes but is not limited to: Interoperability: SOA, ESB, MOM, Databases and storage technologies (Oracle, ElasticSearch, NAS), IT protocols: specially JMS, SOAP, REST, HTTP(S), AS4, XML, JSON, Web Service implementation: WSDL, XSD, OpenAPI, Electronic Certificates mechanisms and protocols, Identity and Access Management mechanisms and protocols (CAS, SAML);
• Very good knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message  oriented middleware, service oriented bus, micro services, message oriented  architecture);
• Very good knowledge of service implementation patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, request/response, etc.), distributed system design and messaging layer;
• Excellent command of the English language.
