Information System Security Engineer

Job Description: 

Novetta is seeking an Information System Security Engineer to support a fast paced, innovative project supporting our client in the field of data science and AI/Machine Learning.

Basic Qualifications:

• Approximately 7 years of experience maintaining security posture of Sponsor compute environments, including cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing the full lifecycle of, and workflows for, security accreditation projects under the ICD503 Rev. 4 Framework.
• Approximately 7 years of experience creating and maintaining security system plans (SSP) and other security relevant documentation for computer systems and applications.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with Sponsor Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) to ensure security compliance of systems.
• Experience obtaining IC reciprocity for at least one security accreditation project.
• Extensive knowledge of Sponsor’s information system security policies, and risk management framework.

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required to start
