Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support our client’s organization that performs continuous monitoring of mission systems. The successful candidate will provide Cyber Security Engineering for a cloud computing environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  •  Conduct research and evaluate technical performance of Air Force Weather Wing mission systems and staging environments
  •  Provide feedback to Government management, design engineers, and other stakeholders and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through formal verification methods
  • Configuration, review, and monitoring of Amazon Web Services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Guard Duty, and more for Compliance and Audit
  • Configuration, review, and monitoring of machine generated data with tools such as Splunk
  • Configuration, review, and auditing of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio
  • Preparing assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis
  • Reviewing test plans and procedures to ensures they meet the requirements
  • Producing high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for Government management and stakeholders

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience researching, analyzing, and applying cybersecurity mitigation strategies to resolve vulnerabilities.
  • AWS configuration audit acumen
  • Experience with cyber operations, continuous monitoring strategies, or defense in depth security architecture, knowledge of Risk Management Framework
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Experience working with scanning tools
  • Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter
  • A Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
  • U.S. Citizenship and clearable to a Secret clearance or higher

  • DOD Secret Clearance
  • Security+ Certification
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
  • Government Security Engineer Certification (GSEC)
