The Role
As a Content Manager on Veeva’s Proposal Management team, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Veeva’s content library. Working with a diverse and global network of SMEs, you will be directly responsible for creating, managing/maintaining, and expanding Veeva’s vast and extensive database of pre-written content to improve proposal quality and proposal team/sales/SME productivity when responding to RFP/RFIs.

What You'll Do

  • Function as the SME on Veeva’s Proposal Management team for Veeva’s RFP/RFI content library (Loopio).
  • Define and optimize the content library structure; identify and build processes and best practices for streamlining content reuse.
  • Proactively build the content library, validate content accuracy, and manage the content lifecycle to ensure content remains up to date and accurate.
  • Coordinate effort among multiple supporting SMEs to identify frequently asked questions that need to be maintained in the content library.
  • Format, proofread and edit for accuracy, clarity, and readability.
  • Ensure brand, legal, and compliance rules are applied to all content maintained in the content library.
  • Schedule regular reviews of the content library to identify areas that need to be updated/expanded.
  • Review the structure of the content library on a regular basis to ensure it meets the needs of the business.
  • Conduct regular training on the utilization of the content library.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Communications, Business, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a content manager in a fast-paced, B2B environment—life sciences and/or SaaS technology strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the principles of, and best practices in, content/database management.
  • Prior experience setting up a content library for a large B2B enterprise (i.e., 10K+ content records across multiple product areas).
  • Exceptional written English language skills.
  • Proven experience in proposal content writing.
  • Self-starter—self-motivated and self-managed—able to act with speed and agility while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates excellent networking, collaboration, and project management skills within a large B2B organization.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of SMEs, including senior functional leads and technical experts.
  • Displays an ownership mentality.
  • Strict attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert formatting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Team player—able to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Displays a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in software tools and applications, including Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Salesforce CRM, RFP proposal software (e.g., Loopio, Qvidian, RFPIO, RFP360, etc.) – Loopio, strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Broad market knowledge of proposal automation solutions.
  • Certified Loopio system administrator.
  • APMP Foundation or Practitioner level desired.
