People Experience Specialist at Checkout.com:
A new and exciting role to oversee and maintain the security aspect of our Health, Safety and Security program. This new role will be critical in ensuring all our locations have a high level of security keeping teams and workplaces safe.
Reporting into the Senior People Experience Specialist for health and safety you will be responsible for maintaining and integrating the physical security systems for all our global locations, ensuring all teams have the correct access and training to operate on a local level.

About You:

  • 4+ years in a similar/comparable role
  • Extensive knowledge of the security industry and available systems (C-Cure is advantageous)
  • Sound working knowledge of CCTV and security device software and hardware
  • Solid experience with managing access control systems
  • Ability to build positive relationships with outsourced security partners ensuring efficient service delivery
  • Sound knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Ability and confidence to advise teams on their projects and installation process
  • Flexible in approach to solving issues and delivering projects
  • Awareness of health and safety
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements seamlessly
  • Highly organised
  • Proactive, always thinking one step ahead
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, always ready to roll up your sleeves and really commit to the team

What You will be doing:

  • Maintaining and developing a global security standard framework to enable a streamlined and centralised security system
  • Developing and delivering physical security solutions for all locations in line with our strategy to create safe and secure physical environments
  • Managing the security providers on integrating and commissioning access control, CCTV and licenses
  • Managing the security maintenance providers for CCTV and card access to ensure systems are maintained to contractual requirements and within SLA
  • Liaising with global teams on leading the provision of security access passes and configuring users access
  • Reviewing CCTV when required maintaining compliance with Data Protection regulations
  • Meeting key dates and timeframes for the installation and commissioning of all projects, liaising with key partners throughout
  • Developing and maintaining a global security framework to ensure compliance, safety and adherence to company procedures
  • Assessing, auditing and reviewing current security procedure and practices making recommendations for change
