We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and scalable zero-trust architecture for accessing development, testing, and production enclaves. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of CNAP, enabling development team collaboration from disparate organizations. Your expertise in cloud-native technologies, DevSecOps practices, and security will be essential in driving the adoption and continuous improvement of CNAP.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux experience.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of GitOps development 
• Experience with Istio, HashiCorp Consul and HashiCorp Vault
• Experience with production grade Kubernetes clusters. 
• Experience with FluxCD and ArgoCD
• Experience working with Monitoring, Logging and Alerting stack (ELK, PLG, Fluentd etc) 
• Experience in architecting, developing, and managing Kubernetes platforms using IaC, (Terraform, Packer, Ansible, etc.), and Configuration as Code.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, including zero-trust architectures, identity, and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security. 
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• A deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and infrastructure automation. 
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and have experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly preferred: 

•  Possession of relevant security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working with Cloud Native Access Point (CNAP) or similar zero-trust architectures is highly desirable.
• Experience working in government or defense environments, with knowledge of security and compliance requirements. 
• A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud security, DevSecOps, and infrastructure automation.

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance
