Who We Are

Cobalt (cobalt.io) is a fast growing cybersecurity start-up headquartered in San Francisco. Cobalt is providing a Pentest as a Service Platform which leverages the sharing economy to find global security talent to help secure companies and their users. We have Scandinavian roots, an American base and a global outlook. Our offices in San Francisco, Berlin, and remote roles are characterized by a fun, fast-paced and collaborative culture based on individual responsibility and ownership.

Description

Today, Cobalt helps secure hundreds of leading B2B companies (GoDaddy, HubSpot) by connecting them with on-demand pentesting experts. The platform brings both sides together to identify, triage and fix vulnerabilities. Seven years and over 20K commits later, our technology has been battle tested by thousands of users.

What's next? Cobalt is continuing to grow and evolve the feature sets serving companies' needs for pentest planning, execution, and analysis.  The Customer Experience (CX) Pentests team is looking for outstanding engineers to join us in building a platform that delights growth, SMB, corporate, and enterprise level customers as they improve their security posture.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll leverage your expertise to design and extend our React application, iteratively improving Cobalt’s org and user settings, access controls and permissions, in-app events and notifications, and more. You’ll work collaboratively with product managers and designers to drive the implementation and release of major features, and be a champion of best practices for writing well-tested, well-organized code.
