Company Description

Our department provides services and consultation to business units at Bosch North America in compliance of the governance topics of Information Security and Data Protection (ISP), Access and identify Management (AIM), Internal Controls/Monitoring Procedures (IC/MP) and IT Security in Manufacturing & Engineering (ITM/ITL)

Job Description

We are seeking in individual to become part of our network of experts on the governance topic of Information Security and Data Protection (ISP).  As an expert you will be responsible for educating, monitoring and providing consultancy support to our internal customer base as they work toward compliance and reduce overall risk to Bosch on ISP. 

As a Data Security Partner (DSP), you will work closely with assigned organizations to understand their data management and support them in fulfilling the rules that govern Bosch’s Information Security and Data Protection Management Systems.  This non-technical role involves training, tracking, auditing and close collaboration with departments to understand their risk landscape. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain expert knowledge of Bosch regulations on the topic of Information Security and Data Protection
  • Integrate yourself into assigned organizations to understand their data architecture and IT system management.
    • Central point of contact to assigned organizations on all ISP related topics.
    • Central point of contact to other internal or external personnel on ISP related topics pertaining to your assigned organizations.
  • Develop and maintain risk landscapes.
  • Mitigate risks through the development and delivery of awareness material, trainings.
  • Support or conduct ISO standard audits to ensure compliance.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business Required
  • 2+ years of work experience in a corporate, technical or customer service driven environment. (Military experience is accepted in lieu of the 2+ years work experience).

Preferred

  • Ability to network and research to find viable solutions to situations
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills required
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office Suite required
