Job Description

We are seeking a candidate who is driven, innovative, and able to work in a deadline-oriented environment while managing inputs from multiple stakeholders. The candidate will work on a small team within the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance organization. The team focuses on cybersecurity policy and awareness activities. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong command of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO27002, PCI DSS, and NIST 800-53, attention to detail, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and a broad based understanding of current technology, platforms, and architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

  • Assist in the development of executive reports and controls assessments

  • Assist with process improvement initiatives or automation of manual processes—this will include building business requirements and process design for new system of record to replace some current manual processes

  • Develop original cybersecurity awareness content, including writing original articles, blog posts, training and presentation materials

  • Support security policy management processes including creation and review of mappings between various security standards frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS CSC, PCI DSS, etc.) and Visa proprietary security policies and frameworks

  • Support Audit Readiness, including internal, regulatory, and external audits and control assessments

  • Support cybersecurity integration for merger and acquisition activities

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience
• 7 to 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, CIS, Data Analytics, or Computer Science or equivalent practical technology and/or audit experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable presenting to senior business leaders and negotiating successful outcomes
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively but also comfortable working independently
• Ability to learn quickly and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications:
• Consulting background (e.g., Big Four)
• Experience working with global teams
• Degree in Computer Science or another technical related field
