The ideal candidate should:

Be an independent, critical thinker skilled in using data to solve analytical problems and adept in satisfying intelligence requirements. The produced intelligence will be used to provide guidance, resources and solutions for information security decision makers.

Some responsibilities of a Threat Intelligence Analyst:

  • Correlate intelligence, to develop deeper understandings of tracked threat activity;
  • Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, their methodology and the motivations behind their activity;
  • Evaluate current and emerging tools and best-practices for tracking advanced persistent threats; tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of attacker’s motivations, industry and attacker trends;
  • Work with information security decision makers and the security operations team to determine their intelligence needs and requirements;
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing the importance of findings for several audience sets;
  • Prepare and deliver briefings and reports to information security decision makers, security operations team and/or peer analysts;
  • Ability to work with little direct oversight.

*Interviewing and onboarding are currently done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team and our current staff will remain working from home until it is safe to return to our offices. When it’s time, we will require a fixed cadence of visiting the office in which employees go to their Business Unit's (BU) base location. Employees will have an employment contract based on the cities that Nu’s offices are located, considering their country of hire. More details can be shared during your hiring process.
