Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity who will actively red and blue team the system as well as provide continuous monitoring of the live cyber environment  for all environments  responsible for. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will provide superior technical customer service and management and may be involved with escalations when necessary. The Senior Engineer will assess security vulnerabilities from either a physical or cyber perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact

Assignments

• Responsible for safeguarding information systems assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems
• Maintain and improve platform Authority to Operate(ATO) in cloud environments
• Plans and leads major technology assignments
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
• Will function as a technical expert across team/tasks
• Create and maintain documentation for implementations
• Document assessments and processes
• Communicate the outcomes of assessments to leadership
• Lead others when needed

Requirements:

• Ability to demonstrate an advanced understanding in agile and DevSecOps methodologies
• Experienced in software security testing, especially with containerized applications
• Understands physical security threats and countermeasures
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and implementing security into infrastructure, platforms and software
• Experience running red team/blue team security games and analysis
• Solid understanding of live monitoring of cyber environment for potential attacks, vulnerabilities and log analysis
• Developed cybersecurity architecture with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework(RMF) security assessments

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with a cross functional team
• Demonstrated cybersecurity experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience hardening Kubernetes and containers a plus
• Experience with Cloud(e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.)
• 2+ years experience with container technologies such as Docker  and Kubernetes
• XACTA and EMASS experience
• Specific knowledge of NIST RMF 800-53 controls
• CSSP
• CISSP preferred
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
