Primary Job Functions

  • Identify, report, and assist in the remediation of Cyber Security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Validate the functionality of security tools within the environment.
  • Support design/deployment/maintenance of new and existing security infrastructure capabilities.
  • Establish guidelines to securely manage and configure personal computing equipment, multi-platform servers (physical and virtual), printers, network devices and related peripherals.
  • Monitor IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint security, email gateways, firewalls, network infrastructure and other appliances for security issues.
  • Establish guidelines for granting, revoking and monitoring logical and physical security access for employees, contractors, visitors and others.
  • Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing, network penetration testing and risk analysis. • Conduct internal and participate in external security audits.
  • Analyze security events, realized or potentiation data loss or access events and breaches to identify root cause.
  • Conduct a variety of Cyber Security policy compliance tasks such as discovering unauthorized devices, conducting site surveys for non-compliance, and ensuring network access requirements are met.
  • Verifying the security or compliance of third-party vendors.
  • Participate in maintaining the company’s Incident Response and Disaster Recovery plans to ensure adherence to industry standards and enterprise security posture.
  • Maintain standards for firewall policy implementation and network segregation.
  • Generate reports for administrators and business managers to evaluate the efficacy of the security policies.
  • Participate defining and documenting team processes maintaining flexibility while meeting compliance obligations.
  • Participate in reviewing, maintaining and evoking enterprise Security Awareness Training.
  • Participate in proactive assessments, testing and definition of infrastructure, guidelines, recommendations, and projects plans for capacity planning, disaster recovery and performance.
  • Provide technical support to employees and customers.
  • Participate in operational support, change control and related support tickets.

Requirements

  • 2 years recent practical experience in a similar role.
  • 3 years recent practical Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (or higher), Active Directory and Windows 10 installation and support experience.
  • 3 years recent practical experience supporting Hyper-V or VMWare virtualized server environments.
  • 3 years Internet Protocol networking, firewall management and VLAN operation.
  • Current, relevant security certificates preferred.
  • Experience configuring and installing information security appliances or applications.
  • Fault tolerance and high-availability concepts, support, and implementation.
  • Strong ability in researching, compiling, and analyzing technical data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly self-motivated, flexible, and work independently

Benefits

This role is offering a base salary in the range of $70,000-$85,000, depending on experience. The top end of the range will be reserved for candidates with both a strong gaming system operations and payment processing backgrounds. There is the potential to earn up to an additional 10% annually in bonus. Our benefits start on the 1st of the month after the start date and include unlimited PTO, up to a 3% match on 401K contributions, paid parental leave, and a robust health benefits package with 90% of the employee portion covered.
