To protect our IT assets, Bosch is segmenting its worldwide IT network with various network security technologies. To ensure compliance to our IT security guidelines, we are searching for a “IT Security Engineer", who supports us evaluating customer change requests as well as the verification of existing configurations of firewalls and proxies. You will get to know customer application architectures and evaluate these against our IT security policies. Besides your contribution to our life cycle management for our network security policies on firewalls and web proxies, you will also setup and maintain a new communication analysis service. This service will support customers in analyzing their communication needs for their transition of their assets into new network segments. You will work in an interdisciplinary and international team supported by other internal service providers.

Tasks:
• Compliance assessment of customer change requests for firewall/proxy policies
• Life cycle processes: recertification, clean up unused & non-compliant entries in firewall/proxy policies
• Setup and maintain a communication analysis service based on firewall logs / Splunk

Technologies/Tools used: Tufin, firewalls such as Fortinet & Cisco, Splunk, software-defined networking (SDN), Cisco ACI / DNA, SQL, Jira Track & Release, M365

Kwalifikacje

Profile:

• 3+ years of direct working experience in Tufin/Algosec solutions, which includes firewall assurance, change manager for the network security policy management, preferably within a large global organization
• 3+ years of recent experience with firewalls, and next generation firewalls (Cisco ASA, FTD, Fortinet,CheckPoint etc.) and web proxy solutions
• 3+ years of direct working experience in firewall log analysis and dashboard creations with Splunk
• 3+ years of recent experience in security management practices such as risk management and administrative network access policies
• Proven ability to write process and procedure documents for the enterprise
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and application life cycle management
• Ability to reduce risk posture of the environment by conducting regular security gap analysis
• Ability to support the incident response and architecture review processes whenever security expertise is needed
• Subject certifications are an advantage (e.g. network security)
• Pro-active, intrinsic motivation for the topic to address and resolve technical issues
• Ability to present your results and communicate within the team
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation. The ideal candidate is a good team player and keen learner, with commitment to the security industry
• Very good knowledge of English 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
