Job Description

We are currently looking for a ICT Security Architect to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

Tasks:

  • Design, advice and propose possible infrastructure improvements, changes or upgrades
  • Propose solutions and design complex systems
  • Create and update the technical documentation and operating procedures and policies
  • Accompany and oversee deployments and configuration changes and methods to ensure minimum network and services disruption
  • Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment
  • Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Train users in implementation or conversion of systems

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Master's Degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience 
  • Is experienced in ICT in the role of Information Security Architect or Auditor
  • Holds CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certificate or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certificate or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certificate or equivalent
  • Practical knowledge of designing security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies
  • Designing and implementing security solutions. This includes continuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions, working with an information security team.
  • Experience in consulting and engineering in the development and design of security best practices and implementation of solid security principles across the organization, to meet business goals along with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud computing and security: data breaches, broken authentication, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, APTs, data loss and DoS attacks.
  • Practical knowledge of Identity and access management (IAM) – the framework of security policies and technologies that limit and track the access of those in an organization to sensitive technology resources.
  • Experience with relevant National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, ISO27001 and COBIT
  • Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership, project and team-building skills, including the ability to lead teams and drive projects and initiatives in multiple departments
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects
  •  The ability to be the enterprise security subject matter expert who can explain technical topics to those without a technical background

Specific requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in systems development and security
  • At least 2 years of experience in testing complex systems
  • Experience with design UML and ArchiMate models
  • Familiar with Disaster Recovery, High Availability and Backup strategies
  • Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management and related technologies
  • Ability to explain security architecture in an understandable way to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Good understanding cloud security concept and solution
  • Knowledge of security principles as Need To Know, Zero Trust, DID and other
  • Additional certificates of (will be an advantage): - TOGAF Cerified - CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional - ISC2) - Azure Security Engineer Associate or AWS Certified Security – Specialty
