Senior Consultant, Crisis and Security Consulting, Andean Region

JOB PURPOSE:

We seek an experienced consultant to generate, win and deliver the full range of security consulting projects, based in Bogota. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to achieving the operational and commercial objectives of the CSC team overall and support regional opportunities across Latin America where appropriate.

The Senior Consultant will be an individual contributor but will work collaboratively across the wider Crisis and Security Consulting team and other Control Risks servicing departments.

A proven ability to develop and implement innovative, technology-enabled consulting solutions will be a key differentiator.

Working in the crisis and security consulting practice, the consultant will perform a fee-earning role in which they will be expected to develop and deliver new business opportunities as well as deliver against existing projects and initiatives.

Requirements

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Client delivery and project management

• Scope, design and deliver security consultancy solutions for CSC Bogota clients.
• Deliver integrated consulting solutions to clients as a senior fee-earning consultant.
• Be responsible for the full project cycle of client engagements and act as the client’s primary contact.
• Act as a project leader on complex engagements exceeding client expectations while identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects.
• Employ a structured, disciplined and flexible approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Develop, design, and deliver scenario-based exercises for client training.
• Develop and deliver presentations for varying clients and across the corporate range.
• Collaborate across practices and service lines to help better solve complicated client problems and create tailored solutions.
• Assist the Practice Leader with financial management activities
• Proactively identify prospects and generate new business opportunities for Control Risks.
• Champion improvements and efficiencies for project margins.
• Assist the Practice Leader in developing proposals and appropriate commercial models for CSC engagements.
• Deliver accurate accrued values on a month-to-month basis to Finance.
• Maintain and build knowledge of digital transformation trends and new technologies relevant to growing the Crisis & Security business
• Develop new solutions and services to meet emerging client demands and grow new revenue streams
• Adopt new technology and data driven approaches to core consulting solutions
• Identify opportunities and enhancements for existing Control Risks’ technology and data analytics solutions in consulting projects.
• Author concept notes on topics or new products/services that are relevant to our clients’ operating environments and risk profiles.

Business development and commercial management

• Assist the Practice Leader with financial management activities
