Penetration Tester

We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Penetration Tester to join our UniQue Security Engineering Unit team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Perform internal and external penetration testing in various exploitation scenarios (e.g., Whitebox, Blackbox) and vulnerability assessments covering network and application layers.
  • Conduct social engineering assessments (e.g., phishing attacks, attacks via removable media), Security Code Reviews, either manually or with the help of automated tools.
  • Perform threat modeling exercises.
  • Support team engagements for specialized scenarios and organizations.
  • Explain, present, demonstrate, as needed, the operational impact of any vulnerability.
  • Engage in DevSecOps projects as the technical security champion.
  • Develop exploits and tools for assessments or attacks.
  • Deploy testing methodologies and collecting data.
  • Develop threat models that enumerate cybersecurity threats.
  • Be the solution owner, taking lead and working with cross-functioning team including sales, presales.
  • Advise clients on new services/solutions.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • University/College degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline.
  • Master’s Degree in Information Security will be considered an asset.
  • 3+ years of working experience as a Penetration Tester.
  • Proficiency in Penetration Testing methodologies, tools, techniques.
  • Development experience using Python, Ruby, Perl, C, or C++.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating systems and network security concepts.
  • Good knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM, WAF and VPNs.
  • Any related professional qualification (e.g., OSEE, OSCE, OSEP, OSWE, OSCP, GSEC, GPEN, GCIH, etc.).
  • Information Security related certifications will be considered as a plus, such as (but not limited to): CISSP (and/or any of its concentrations), CISM, CISA, CDPSE, C-EH, GIAC, GPEN, GWAPT, CREST, EC Council LPT, Mile2 CPTE, IACRB CPT & CEPT.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal).
  • Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly EU countries, 20% of the working time)
