Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park (Hybrid)

Business & Team :-

The Technology division delivers the Group’s information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

The Cyber Protective Services Group, a part of the wider Cyber Security Technology function, provides security controls and services that are utilised across the group. This team is responsible for the delivery & support of effective security services and continuous assurance over enterprise security controls within the bank and across its group entities.

We own and operate the Data Protection services to protect the Group. The services protect over 10,000 servers across a range of different On-Prem, Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments, along with over 56,000 end-user devices.

Impact & contribution :-

As the Staff Systems Engineer – Data Security you will be responsible for the implementation, deployment and support of Data discovery and classification and data security posture management solutions. You will also participate in the implementation of complex changes and project delivery. This role will enable you to build, deliver and deploy services and solutions as well as working on productivity initiatives to the platform through automation.

The role also provides delivery governance, technical support, and expertise to customers – responding to customer feedback in order to drive excellence, quality and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

• Develop a deep understanding of the banks data storage and processing
• Contribute to the selection, integration and configuration of data security solutions to maximise risk reduction
• Configure data security policies to identify and remediate data security risk across the organisation
• Be responsible for leading technical deployment of Data Security services and solutions at scale.
• Offer advice across modern architecture, integration patterns and deployment techniques.
• Run what you build leading operational support in addition to ongoing change activities.
• Be accountable for analysing, reviewing and supporting service delivery in order to meet the ongoing technology requirements for the business, projects and stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• Experience working with data security technologies.
• Proficiency in Data Security concepts including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Encryption, Data Discovery and Classification.
• Experience of design/architecture is highly regarded.
• Hands-on experience configuring information security solutions.
• Hands-on technical experience in multi-cloud environments (on premise/AWS/Azure) essential.
• Working knowledge of various scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python etc.

Qualifications :-

• 8-12 years experience
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, analytics, Cyber or related discipline is desirable
• Industry Certifications are an advantage (i.e., CISSP, CCSP, AWS, Azure, DevOps).
