Your next career:The Senior SysAdmin and Security Engineer at fabric is responsible for overseeing and managing our robust corporate technology stack while driving and enforcing security initiatives within our SaaS Infrastructure. This role will encompass planning, configuring, deploying, and maintaining various systems to ensure they align with company objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The Senior SysAdmin and Security Engineer works within our IT function directly administering IT systems and serves as the primary point of contact for resolving a wide range of IT-related issues and systems configurations. This is an IC position, reporting directly to the Director of IT.
Your responsibilities:Responsibilities will focus on SysAdmin and Security, with an expectation of other generalist duties. - Managing and Monitoring Tech Stack: Oversee planning, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of fabric's corporate technology stack.- Driving Security Initiatives: Implement security measures, monitor threats, and respond to incidents to safeguard company data and systems. Trust is one of fabric’s top priorities and this role plays a key part in honoring our commitments to our customers. - Applying Policies and Procedures: Ensure system provisioning and maintenance adhere to company goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements through policy enforcement.- Administration of IT Systems: Configure systems, manage user accounts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
What you bring to the table:- 5+ years proven experience in managing corporate SaaS IT infrastructure, including system administration, configuration management, and robust security practices.- Deep understanding of IT operations, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to interact effectively across all organizational teams and levels.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Qualys, Zscaler, Proofpoint, Okta, Kandji, Jira ) and proficiency in Saas infrastructure management.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- Certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are preferred
