A Cyber Security Engineer of the Cyber Secure by Design team acts as the interface between the technical disciplines and the business to carry out technically orientated security assessments, setting security requirements for new products and services, while also assessing compliance and risk. The role also holds an important advisory role across the business and is required to provide security design and architecture guidance as well as general security consultancy. Finally, the role acts as cyber coach to agile projects and project teams to ensure that future products/ services/ features for Vodafone Greece are secure.
• Assist Vodafone Greece to comply with Group’s cyber security control framework
• Ensure products launched adapt Secure by Design principles
• Identify potential Cyber Risks in newly developed products/ services
• Guide product teams on Security Tools onboarding
• Provide advice and guidance to internal and external customers on security related matters
Who you are
• Strong aptitude for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards (i.e. ISO27001, NIST SP 800-53)
• Knowledge of the main security controls to secure networks and applications, and of the Secure by design principles
• Relevant cyber certifications are considered a strong plus
• Bachelor's and/ or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in cyber security
• Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures
• In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, standards, and frameworks
