Job Type Full-time Description

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is searching for a qualified Developer III to join our team in support of a new long-term project. This is a fully remote role, and the duties and responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Works within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.
  • Develop secure and reliable and resilient set of software applications and/or services whether refactoring or re-hosting existing applications or developing new applications at the Government's request.
  • Assist in designing and developing System Architectures and secure, reliable, and resilient software applications/ services.
Requirements

Minimum Candidate Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen

Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain common access card (CAC)

Candidate must possess an active IASAE Cert (CISSP or CSSLP)

Candidate must possess 18years' experience with the following 

  • System/software design and development.
  • Experience in programming within Agile SDLC.
  • Experience with C++

Desired Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

  • Experience working within the Agile SDLC Framework
  • Experience leading and managing a dispersed, remote team
  • Experience with US Air Force IT Projects
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with legacy application logic (e.g., mainframes, etc.)
  • Experience with HTML
  • Experience with Python

Work Environment:

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Description $125,000 - $160,000
