As a Consultant in our Network team, you will work with the latest network technologies across a range of clients, providing consulting and project services to deliver best of breed solutions. You will be working within a team of passionate, innovative, and engaging people who focus on delivering network solutions that best fit our client’s requirements, whilst having fun along the way.

Our office is based in Auckland and we like to bring people together in person when we can but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! 

What You’ll Do

• Capture and evaluate client needs and requirements and develop solutions to best fit those needs
• Provide project and consultancy services for both external and internal clients and be a key contact for clients
• Participate in technical pre-sales engagements and assist in the preparation of sales proposals and Statements of Work
• Develop and document high quality and innovative solutions and detailed designs covering a range of technologies, products and services
• Work with both client and internal teams to implement network and security solutions using multiple vendor technologies
• Perform trouble shooting tasks and work with other Datacom teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
• Take ownership of tasks, as well as assist the broader Network Services team leveraging your extensive knowledge\

What You’ll Bring

• Prior experience across network consulting, projects and operations
• Demonstrated skills and experience in design and implementation involving routing and switching, wireless and firewall/security solutions
• Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and management skills working with external and internal clients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to talk to clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to lead and or mentor people
• Expertise with network and security technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba etc.)
• Certifications may include Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE4/5/7, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba ACSA/ACSP, Juniper JNCIP or equivalent technical qualifications
• Tertiary level qualification in Computer Science, Technology or a related discipline (desirable)
