We seek an experienced and highly skilled hands-on Head of Cyber Security to lead our newly formed cyber security department. This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to protect our digital assets, ensuring the safety and integrity of our websites, and safeguarding sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the latest cyber threats, a proven track record in cyber security management, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of security professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust cyber security strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Lead and manage the cyber security team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis, such as penetration testing and DOS attacks.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect digital assets.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, threats, and breaches promptly and effectively.
  • Implement SIEM (Security Information Event Management), NAC (Network Access Control), Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, 2FA, Endpoint Security, e-mail security, and web security.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees across the organization.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on security status and incidents to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber security, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in cyber security for websites and web applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain technology.
  • Proven experience in incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience in the affiliate marketing or crypto industry is a plus.
