Our Intelligence Operations Team analyzes the current and future cyber threat landscape to disseminate timely and accurate tactical/operational/strategic intelligence to external customers and industry peers.

The team is remote and distributed across Italy and Spain. 

Job Description

  • Review Threat Alerts triggered by our system for our clients and discard False Positives. 
  • Perform initial triage analysis on triggered threat alerts for clients by our system to determine necessary escalation steps as per internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 
  • Provide feedback and continually enhance various documents pertaining to our internal SOP. 
  • Daily monitor and analyze cyber threats related events for impact on customers. 
  • React rapidly to breaking news and incidents in the cyber sphere. 
  • Assist in researching and writing succinct briefings, presentations, and reports to convey analysis, threat trends, threat actor profiles, indicator bulletins, vulnerability details and defensive strategies. 
  • Conduct daily Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) to stay up to date with latest attack and detection techniques. 

Qualifications

  • Currently studying or having recently finished a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline. 
  • Basic Understanding of Enterprise IT Networks and the threat landscape. 
  • Basic Understanding of Drivers of Offensive Operations and Threat Concepts and Frameworks. 
  • Basic Knowledge of Threat Actors, open-source research, nation state actors and TTPs. 
  • Familiarity with indicators of compromise. 
  • Basic knowledge of OSINT tools and techniques, including darkweb monitoring.  
  • Strong research and analysis skills and an investigative mindset, with ability to assess and analyze information from various sources to develop actionable intelligence. 
  • Excellent Communication skills, including good written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Good teamwork & emotional intelligence, able to cooperate and work independently in a full-remote team located across EU. 
  • Current holder of an EU Passport or a visa that allows paid internship work. 
  • Knowledge of scripting language would be a plus, although not a requirement.

What's the contract and pay like?

This internship is designed for students enrolled in a program with an internship ("Prácticas") requirement and who are available for a full-time commitment (40 hours per week). As part of the selection process, you will be required to secure a "Convenio de Prácticas" with your university.

Our interns receive a compensation of 800 euros per month. Additionally, this job could lead to the opportunity to join the team in 2025 on a permanent contract.

  • You apply and fill a couple of screening questions.
  • We review all applications.
  • We invite the top 25% to an online assessment via Vervoe and interview with our People Team via MS Teams.
  • We schedule the top 4-5 candidates with our Head of Intel Ops and our senior analysts
  • We make an offer and conduct background checks.
