Job Title: Risk and Control Senior Specialist, VP

Location: Pune, India
 

Role Description

  • Technology, Data, and Innovation Fixed Income and Currencies Tech team focuses on development of low latency electronic trading platform and services for FX, Rates & Credit, Listed Derivates businesses. We work on super-fast market data feeds, connectivity to exchanges and other electronic venues, algo pricing and trading, order management systems and frameworks; we capture petabytes of data and power analytics for traders and quants.
  • As a Risk and Control specialist you will be working in our domain embedded Risk and Control group to ensure that electronic trading platform is secure and safe, compliant with internal and external policies, and you will proactively manage risks associated with running such complex and critical environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working with Risk and Control Director who is responsible for audit engagement and finding remediation management for the whole Fixed Income and Currencies Tech domain
  • Managing findings life-cycle events (e.g. closures, risk downgrades, risk acceptances)
  • Collaboration with internal audit team: initial data collection and engaging with the right subject matter experts, reducing IT efforts spent on audit
  • Monitoring progress of audit finding and self-identified issue remediation in partnership with key stakeholders from Technology, timely alerting of any potential roadblocks and proposing cost-effective solutions       
  • Serving as an interface between Technologists and Bank’s control functions, translating complex language of regulatory and audit requirements to IT staff
  • Working with MI (Management Information) to prepare executive reports on key information security KPIs to senior Management
  • Assistance in research to maintain adherence to external regulations and internal Bank’s policies, helping protect the Bank from regulatory impact

Your Skills and Experience

  • B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science 
  • A technologist with 5+ years of experience in Information Security/IT Risk Management
  • Strong analytical and design skills, flexibility in problem solving
  • Very good project management skills
  • Proficient communication skills; fluent verbal, and written English
  • Ability to work on multiple streams in parallel
  • Good understanding of risk management methodology and principles (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001)
  • IT, InfoSec or IT Risk Management certifications is a big plus (e.g. ITIL, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
