The role:


DNV has significant ambitions to grow the Cyber Security unit in the coming years. Building on our success and strengths in the Nordics and internationally we will make a global impact on safeguarding life, property and the environment.


We are currently looking for talented Cyber Security Consultants to join our growing Industrial & OT Cyber Security unit. This team provides cyber security assessments, technical verification and advisory services both onshore and offshore. You will be working on exciting customer projects in key industries including maritime, oil and gas, renewables, utilities and others.


This role will offer you the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the Industrial cyber security field. You will be based at one of DNV’s offices in Norway, preferably Høvik or Trondheim, but other locations can be considered.


You have:


  • Bachelor level or Master degree in relevant areas such as cyber security, computer science, telecoms, or cybernetics. Or proven relevant experience in those fields.
  • Preferably you have experience in one of the following:
    • OT Security or/and Industrial & Automation controls
    • Incident response/SOC Experienced
    • Digital forensic education
    • Security architecture design and review
    • Cloud security
    • Risk analysis and management
    • Experience with the IEC62443 standard for security in control and automation systems
  • CISSP or GICSP certification is a plus
  • The ability to build and develop good relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A team player instinct, sharing and collaborating effectively with others
  • Qualified to achieve Norwegian security clearance. We work with clients that are related to critical infrastructure. A qualified candidate must be able to pass this screening & background check.
  • Fluent Norwegian and English language skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills; precise, efficient, structured and clear
  • A customer-oriented mindset
  • A positive, constructive, and solution-oriented “can-do” attitude
  • The personal integrity to work with a trust-based brand like DNV
