Host Cogent company has security jobs and is seeking to fill the position of a Cyber Security Analyst.

The Cyber Security Analyst oversees several programs, including reporting, monitoring, auditing, incident response, training, raising public awareness of risks, performing regular vulnerability analysis for intentional and unintentional systems misuse, and identifying appropriate countermeasures.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a cyber security role required
  • Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure
  • Basic to advanced networking skills
  • Knowledge of TCP / IP and routing
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (Network and Host)
  • Firewall (Installation, Maintenance, Administration), Personal Firewall (Installation, Maintenance, Administration, and Support)
  • Anti- Virus Software and Anti Spyware solutions
  • Network device monitoring (Routers, switches)
  • Documentation and Communication skills
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to track incidents back through log file entries
