Information Security Analyst

Community Hospital Corporation, a 2022 DFW Top 100 Employer, seeks a corporate Information Security Analyst. The Information Security Analyst reports to the VP, IT, and works closely with Systems Administrators and/or Network Administrators within CHC Corporate and system hospitals to provide assistance and coordinate security-related activities, and supports the Vice President of Regional Information Technology with assigned security tasks and projects.

This is an on-site role in our corporate headquarters in Legacy West - Plano, Texas. This an advanced security role, and the analyst will:

• Respond to escalated cyber security alerts, participate in incident response, network and firewall monitoring and management, and understanding application exploitation techniques.
• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures for the network, ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard key infrastructure components and provide a strategy to mitigate risk while maintaining intrusion containment.
• Work in coordination with facility and external resources in response to computer security incidents, breaches, and viruses.

In addition, the analyst will support CHC’s Information Security/Privacy Officer, Associate Security Officer, and Security Vendor Business Partner/SOC and will be tasked with proactive vulnerability assessment, threat detection, forensic investigation support, and will support system deployments with security best practices.

Requirements

• Requires a degree in information security related field or the equivalent in education, certifications and related experience
• Seeking 3 to 5 years experience as a Level III or Senior Analyst in a highly matrixed organization
• CISSP, GCIA, or CISA certification preferred
• Healthcare related data security experience preferred
• Requires ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of organization, from hourly employees to executives to external vendor partners
