Purpose
The Strategy Consultant works closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop Kueski’s short and long term strategy and goals. This role also focuses on conceptualizing and formulating strategic initiatives that further Kueski’s mission and helps ensure day-to-day activities support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsabilities:
-Conduct market research (evaluating market trends) and competitor analysis to articulate Kueski’s position and recommend strategies including partnership and M&A opportunities; recognize threats and single out remarkable business opportunities.-Collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders to devise effective short and long term strategies and goals; create actionable goals that make it possible to turn the company’s mission and vision into tangible results.-Develop executive-level documents to facilitate strategic discussions and communication with Kueski senior management, Board, and other stakeholders.-Assess the success of different projects and initiatives toward achieving Kueski’s mission and goals; ask critical questions to gain insights into company performance and potential.-Keep track of legislation regulating the industry and the company’s activities.
Position Requirements:
-Exceptional business acumen and strong working knowledge of management strategies, strategic planning frameworks, decision frameworks, and risk analysis.-Track record of conducting high quality, high value consulting services that demonstrate the use of insights in long-term planning and strategic development.-Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills to chair or facilitate meetings, deliver presentations, and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.-Outstanding written communication skills to document and summarize complex reports and strategy papers.-Creativity and strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.-Ability to multitask a variety of activities including research projects, data analysis, document preparation, organizing and coordinating with various stakeholders, etc.-Ability to challenge the standard thinking with new insights, new approaches, and new solutions.-Self-directed and able to work independently yet capable of working collaboratively and in partnership with diverse stakeholders-Experience working with fast paced, high growth startups in the fintech (preferred) or technology industry.-Experience with M&A strategy.-MBA preferred.-Fluency is English required; fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
