Essential Job Functions

• Establish and maintain a deep understanding of Software AGs Information Security posture (Standards, Policies. Controls).
• Participate in customer/prospect meetings with Software AG sales team to address security concerns.
• Support legal with in-depth security know-how with regards to contract reviews.
• Support customer-initiated security controls assessments and audits.
• Support ongoing review and enhancements to RFI/RFQ database and security documentation.
• Support customer trust program improvement projects.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in information security and technology projects and proven ability to provide customer-facing communication and support.
   

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of Information Security Standards and Frameworks such ISO/IESC 27001/17/18, C5, SOC 2, CSA, NIST or similar.
• Security Industry certificates such as CCSK and CISM.
• Ability to develop and maintain interpersonal relationships internally and externally.
• Ability to communicate security controls and measures to internal / external customers and auditors.
• Competency to work with virtual, and multi-cultural team.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Fluent English.
• Strong negotiation skills.
