Learn more at www.devo.com. Devo is a privately held, hyper-growth SaaS company, and we are looking for a Sales Development Representative who is passionate about cybersecurity, building strong connections with our buyers and partners, and making a positive impact on enterprises and the community.As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Devo, you will be at the forefront of our Sales & Marketing efforts, playing a crucial role in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, particularly focusing on large enterprise accounts. Our SDRs are dedicated to achieving results that drive revenue growth while enhancing our brand presence and market penetration through a strategic and personalized approach.Responsibilities:
  • Utilize sophisticated prospecting techniques and industry insights to warm up and nurture potential clients.
  • Conduct in-depth research on prospects using platforms like LinkedIn to develop tailored outreach strategies.
  • Proactively engage with potential clients from lead source lists via email and calls, concentrating on large enterprise accounts.
  • Identify and analyze the potential needs or challenges in prospects' current processes/software to determine the suitability of our solutions.
  • Schedule introductory meetings between prospects and field sales representatives, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Provide actionable feedback and maintain ongoing communication with sales and marketing teams to ensure a robust and qualified pipeline.
  • Develop and expand your professional network, establishing strong relationships within the assigned market to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities.

 

Qualifications:
  • Successful track record working collaboratively with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Forward-thinker, adept at interpreting data analyses and drawing marketing implications from research and customer insight
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling stories
  • Proven showcase of authored content and ability to speak confidently to different audiences
  • Strong business understanding and ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on impact
  • Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment

 

Background:
  • 3+ years experience in a SDR, BDR or related role.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to persuade and overcome objections through strategic engagement, tenacity, and persistence.
  • Team player who drives success and motivates others, capable of excelling individually and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in sales or customer service, with a preference for experience in enterprise sales.
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Center business needs and SIEM software
  • Persistent and resilient, with a strong work ethic and a determination to succeed.
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn and other prospecting tools for detailed research and personalized outreach.

If you are driven, strategic, and looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.Compensation:This role will have a general pay range of $63,000.00 to $79,500.00.  The provided base salary range is what we expect to pay a substantially qualified candidate, with final offer being based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills, as well as location and other factors.  Total compensation for the role will include base salary, as well as a bonus or commission target and an equity grant applicable to the level of the role.Why work at Devo?
