What You’ll Be Doing:

System Engineer

As a member of the Platform Engineering org, you will be part of a team with heavy focus on managing Infrastructure Risk Management as well as managing Cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-premises infrastructure administration.

What you’ll be doing …

  • End to end Infrastructure Risk Management.
  • Closely work with Cloud Network Services and Security Ops teams to significantly reduce vulnerability.
  • Develop a technical debt mitigation strategy in partnership with other engineers on the team.
  • Partner with infosec, engineering and operations team to better understand upcoming IT needs and incorporate these needs in long-term and short-term strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and assistance to NOC and infosec teams.
  • Report to the Director of IT Infrastructure Service.

You will need this to be successful …

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, are a must and very critical.
  • Review vulnerability reports and prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation based on severity/impact.
  • Develop and execute vulnerabilities remediation plans in a timely manner.
  • Conduct post-remediation verification to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated.
  • Hands on experience in cloud platform preferable Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Teneble, Manage Engine and SCCM will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of scripting language such as PowerShell or Python for automation purpose.
  • Highly collaborative attitude and able to mentor junior engineers on the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for basic Windows server management tasks, including user account management, group policy administration, and system updates.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices to inform remediation efforts and server management practices.
  • Low ego.
  • Certification examples: AZ-900, SC-900 or equivalent.

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Mandatory Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
