What You"ll Do

  • As a member of a remote base team, you’ll be responsible for architecture review, roles and access review, and driving the methodology and execution of testing activities
  • Provide guidance to teammates and clients by advising on security and configuration best-practices, defense-in-depth, and secure SDLC
  • Communicate with customer stakeholders to include leadership, system and network administrators, security engineers, development and support teams
  • Enhance and maintain cloud service provider technical testing methodologies and standards
  • Lead and support penetration testing projects from scoping thorough out-brief
  • Participate in internal and external security trainings and conferences

What You"ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in information security with a focus on web application and network penetration testing experience
  • Ability to lead penetration testing project / team independently for the full project lifecycle
  • An aptitude for technical writing, including assessment reports, presentations and operating procedures
  • Familiarity with penetration testing tools and tool suites such as Burp Suite Pro, Acunetix, NetSparker, Kali Linux, etc.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Nexpose)
  • Familiarity with web application vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., IBM AppScan, HP, Webinspect, Accunetix, NTO Spider, Burpsuite Pro)
  • Familiarity with security implications of migrating to the Cloud
  • Familiarity with static analysis tools (e.g., IBM Appscan Source, HP Fortify)
  • Hands-on experience engaging clientele in consulting-related environments
  • Strong understanding of security principles, policies and industry best practices
  • BurpSuite, PostMan, ScoutSuite, Pacu
  • Organized and capable of providing formal documentation
  • Flourishes in cooperative work environments
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to enhance or improve processes, procedures, and solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Bonus Points

  • An advanced degree in an IT-related field
  • Database administration, device configuration hardening and compliance
  • Experience with common web frameworks, for example, jQuery, Bootstrap, Django, etc.
  • Experience with common development languages, for example, VB.net, Java, C#, JavaScript, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of at least two programming or scripting languages
  • Familiarity with Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM), Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications
  • Working knowledge of defensive security techniques and technologies
  • OSCP/E, OSWE, GWAPT, GPEN, or GXPN, CISSP, CSSLP, CEH certification(s)
